HCG Recipes Make a Difference

While there isn't very much eating while on the HCG diet program, there is eating. And it's very strict eating. Sticking to it is much easier if you give yourself some variety. That's why finding good, simple, yummy recipes appropriate for the program is so important.

You can start by sprucing up your basic beverage. You need to drink a LOT of water. Try changing up this most basic of basics with the Stevia drops recommended to go along with the diet. Use your favorite flavor to create flavored water. You'll be surprised how refreshing it can be.

You get 2 servings of fruit each day as well. Many HCG dieters incorporate their fruit as their mid day and after dinner snack. This variation on the apple makes the perfect addition to the diet (especially if you like apple pie).

Cut one apple in half. Sprinkle the top with cinnamon; or douse the top in cinnamon depending on your own preferences. Put both apple halves on a microwave safe plate and microwave them for 2 minutes or so. (They should be warm). Whip it out and dive in. You've got yourself a healthy dessert on your hands; the Warm Cinnamon Apple. It's fantastic.

For lunch or dinner you could try Chicken in Tomatoes (although Beef works just as well). Grill your meat beforehand and have it ready to go. (Don't forget to control your portion size). Slice up a couple tomatoes. You'll be sauteing them on medium for about 5 minutes. During the cook time you need apply pressure repeatedly to the tomatoes with the back of a spoon or something similar. By the end of the 5 minute cook time you want your tomatoes to resemble a really thick spaghetti sauce. Next you add your meat. And last you add some seasonings...try garlic salt, onion salt and some Italian seasonings.

When you're on a very low calorie diet like the one presented with the HCG diet making your foods count is vital. You will have a much higher success rate if you don't feel deprived so having something interesting and filling on your plate makes a huge difference.
