How To Identify Diabetes Symptoms

By Cathy Sheehan

There are so many medical illnesses and discoveries being made on new diseases that are cropping up that can suddenly appear and have serious affects on our bodies. Diabetes is one that has been diagnosed for many, many years. Unfortunately because of the lack of education people don't realize they have it until they are unable to function and go to the doctor. Here are ways to identify diabetes symptoms.

If caught early in the beginning stages, diabetes can be regulated and with the proper treatment it limits it in most cases to progress in stages that can cause severe problems. In some cases diabetes is hereditary and can't be prevented.

Any of these experiences on a frequent basis may be related to diabetes symptoms. If you go to the bathroom all of the time is a sign. If you are frequently thirsty and what you drink doesn't have the same taste may be a sign. If you have increase eating and are still hungry is a symptom.

Weight loss can be another sign, especially if your appetite has increased, and you are not dieting. If you have been sluggish, tired, and going to bed more to get rest, or perhaps you have mood swings and increased irritability, these could be diabetes symptoms. Another thing that may be a result of diabetes is impaired vision where it's harder to see.

When things you normally smell or the air you breathe has a distinct smell that is a symptom. Feeling week, nauseas, have stomach pain, cuts that heal slower, or you feel itchy often can indicate diabetes.

Take care of yourself and notice any of these diabetes symptoms. Don't hesitate to contact your physician so he can diagnose the problems and evaluate your options. - 17268
