The Ten Steps to Reduce Bruising, Step 2 - The Second Primary Bruising Cause!

By Carolyn Cooper

When you are trying to determine how you are going to reduce bruising so often, you should learn why you bruise and how the your body's changes will affect you. Generally, you have noticed that easy bruising is occurring much more frequently as you get older. You are not just noticing more bruises because of heightened awareness, because you really are experiencing them more often.

The bruises that you are seeing are things that happen to almost everyone after a certain point in time, and though there are many serious causing factors, there is a good chance that one of the ones that is affecting you has to do with the way that your skin behaves as you age. At the most basic level, your skin is no longer as resilient and as tough as it used to be due to less collagen being available. There are other factors affecting the skin that you need to be aware of and how that affects the skins ability to protect you.

Keep in mind that your skin's primary purpose is to provide protection for your body. Not only does your skin help provide a cushion for your body against injury, it also provides a layer of protection for you against disease. On top of your skins loss of collagen, your skin may have become thinner because of your spending a lifetime exposed to the sun. Not only has your skin gotten thinner, but just beneath the skin tiny blood vessels called capillaries may have gotten thinner walls because of reduced blood pressure brought about by aging.

Think about all the times that your body simply bumps into things. If you work around a lot of counters, you might lightly bump your hip as you go around a corner or you might just simply catch the door on your forearm. Even contact like this, which is minor and should not hurt you, can bring about bruising.

You should also, keep in mind that your body doesn't heal as quickly as it used to. Do you remember being able to recover from illnesses and injuries much more quickly when you were younger? Your metabolism is slowing down and along with it is your ability to heal yourself quickly.

If you combine the fact that you are no longer able to heal yourself as quickly as you once were with the fact that your skin and capillary walls are thinner, you will readily see an why an increase in bruising is going to occur.

This is the second of the two major common causes of easy bruising that you might be facing, so its time to consider about how this condition will affect you and what actions that you need to take to help alleviate the condition. Certainly you should consider adding a daily supplement program like Bruises Be Banned to help overcome your easy bruising and help you reduce bruising or prevent bruising altogether. - 17268
