6 Week Body Makeover - Surviving the Program

The basics of the 6 Week Body Makeover is, "stick to the plan, lose weight". It's a simple motto, yet hard for many people. The reason why some people cannot stick to the plan is because they become frustrated from the lack of fat loss. Here are some of the causes for you not losing weight.

Are you sticking to the program but and cannot eat all of the meals? Do you feel full all the time? This is a good thing! If you are not hungry and sticking to the plan, then the Michael Thurmond program is working for you. Many people think that they need to starve to lose weight. However, this is not the case. If you can, try to eat all of the meals based on your body type.

Many people are impatient and want fast results. However, fast results tend to mean that you are only losing water weight and not fat. Typically, you want to lose about 1 to 2 pounds a week to stay healthy. However, some people lose up to 10 pounds per week on the Six Week Body Makeover. Don't be alarmed if you're not losing this much weight in your first week. Stick to the plan and the weight WILL come off.

Are you the same weight as you were when you started the program? Do you look thinner but weight the same? Many people are deceived by weight. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat. If you've stuck to the program, then this means you've gained muscle. Lean muscle is a good thing because it means your metabolism will burn calories even faster than before. A good indication of whether or not you've lost FAT weight is by looking at your before photo and studying your after photo. You will be shocked with the results!

Don't use the scale as your weight loss benchmark. Instead use your before pictures and compare them to after photo shots of yourself in your shorts or bikini. If you can see a difference in your problem areas, then you've lost weight.
