Vitamin supplements are not regulated by the government like drugs are. They are instead classified as food products. A medical professional can tell you many things about the different vitamins you can take. Simply put, vitamin supplements are meant to help your body, not to hurt you, and your doctor can see to it that this is not a problem.

The quality of the vitamin is very important. Every manufacturer can make their vitamins differently. They are not regulated therefore the producers can put variety in their products.
