How To Get Rid Of Bingo Wings Faster

By Katherine Crawford M.S.

Learning how to get rid of bingo wings can seem daunting at first. Especially if you are lost among all the different marketing claims and sugar pill products. Luckily, there are certain supplements that can make this process a little easier.

However, these nutritional aids will not do all the work for you. They simply make things a little easier. So please don't expect miracles here. Getting rid of bingo wings takes effort on your part!

And don't forget that it's not just about working hard in the gym to get rid of those bingo wings. You also have to work outside of the gym by watching your nutrition around the clock.

So without further ado, here are some supplements to help you get rid of bingo wings:

1. Alkaloids. By alkaloids I mean caffeine. Caffeine is the most popular stimulant in the entire world. And for good reason: it works. The key here is to take the bare minimum possible for maximum effect. Have too much and you'll get a negative return.

2. A low dose multivitamin. Make sure it is low dose so that you do not reach toxic levels for any single nutrient. It is not necessary nor healthy to have mega doses of vitamins despite what the marketing claims may say. Figuring out how to get rid of bingo wings should be healthy!

3. Alpha lipoic acid. Not only does it serve as an antioxidant, but it also increases insulin sensitivity. In other words, it helps partition nutrients into active tissues like muscle, organs and brain. And if nutrients are going towards active tissues, they are not going towards your bingo wings.

4. Chromium polynicotinate. Known as an insulin mimicker, chromium can help get more nutrients into your active tissues just like alpha lipoic acid. Just make sure you don't take the picolinate version as some studies have shown that it can create toxicity.

Learning how to get rid of bingo wings doesn't have to be extraneously hard. And taking supplements can make life a little easier. Just remember that they cannot make up for a poor diet or lackluster workouts! - 17268

Foods that Build Muscle Easily

By Wakelin Smith

Bodybuilding routines must include eating to build muscle as a component of an overall bodybuilding program.

Lifting weights forces your muscles to work hard, and can also cause minor injury to muscles. Although those injuries can heal very quickly, eating the right foods that build muscle can really speed up the process. Food supplies fuel that the body needs, and the right food can do wonders.

Most people, when thinking of the types of food that helps build muscle, immediately think of eating a low fat diet. For sure that is correct, but probably the most important type of foods that build muscle are foods containing high levels of protein. Foods like meat, fish, chicken, eggs, cheese and other milk products.

Calculating how much protein you should be eating can be tricky. Ask at your gym as to your daily protein requirement. It depends on your weight, and on your lean mass weight (basically the weight of all your bones and organs, minus all body fat).

Carbohydrates, in moderation, are also essential when finding foods that build muscle. Good high fiber carbs include rice, potatoes (yes, potatoes - just do not add butter!), oatmeal and bananas.

Reducing fat in your diet is of course necessary to build bigger muscle on a body that appears lean and has a low body fat ratio. If you are focussing on what foods build muscle mass, you also need to bear in mind that it pays to reduce fat as well. Although proteins are essential (as we talked about earlier), it is really important to select proteins that are low in fat, or that you can cut the fat off. So eat your chicken without the skin, and go for lean steaks rather than more fatty cuts of meat. Opting for cottage cheese or other reduced fat cheeses, and low fat milk also helps reduce your fat intake.

Drinking sufficient water with your meals, between meals, and while you are working out is also very important. Two litres of water a day is what most experts recommend to maintain optimal health. Regular bodybuilding workouts are also essential to maximise the effects of good bodybuilding diets.

Knowing what to eat to build muscle is great, but if you do not combine this great new diet by building muscle mass with weight lifting exercises or other bodybuilding routines, you will not be able to build muscle fast. So you really must do both - eat foods that build muscle, and undertake bodybuilding workouts, and you will end up with a body you will be proud of. - 17268

Constipation Cure - Five Courses To Improve Your Gut

By Sarah Stellings

Suffering from constipation? Well most of us do erst in a while for some and frequently for others. What we will look at in this article is how you can get all the help you will need with constipation.

While this doesn't have on its own, you can try other methods to get the help that you may need for constipation. A lot of people who get constipated will let you know just how uncomfortable it is. There are many reasons why people are constipated.

1: Eating foods without sufficient fiber, such as most fast foods.

This is the single major reason behind most occurrences of constipation. Because we live in an "instant" age, fast foods have become the order of the day. People just don't know what it is to eat healthily.

As long as you can grab some sandwich, burger or fried chicken and the stomach feels full, everything's settled. As a result, foods are not readily digested. All the fiber necessary to stimulate bowel movement are almost non-existent.

2: A fluid intake that isn't complete.

People don't currently drink liquids - at least not the right amount that their body requires. Hence, the rectum absorbs what little moisture is still there when the feces arrives at the rectum. Stooling requires moisture to allow easy stool passages. This is the reason that you strain so much to get rid of the waste.

3: Leading a sedentary life.

People who don't take care of themselves physically, tend to easily develop constipation as a result of the fact they are not involved in any sort of exercise. One of the very first recommendations for those who need constipation help is exercise. The fact that you move around would improve your bowel movements and hasten the relief of constipation.

4: Hormonal imbalance in women.

Pressure on the intestine by the growing uterus and hormonal changes can cause women to suffer from constipation while pregnant. Now that you know a few of the causes lets move on and show you how you can get all of the constipation help you're likely to need.

Eat lots of Fiber!

Dietary fiber which is also known as bulk forming laxatives is gotten from the consumption of fruits and vegetables. The easiest way to incorporate this into your lifestyle is by increasing the quantity of fruits and vegetables in your meals and cutting down on the excess of dairy and meat products.

But, in certain cases, some people could find it difficult to deal with the amount of fruits that are required. Whenever this happens you should take wheat bran, oat bran, psyllium seeds or other fiber supplements.

You can make sure you get enough fiber by reaching for fruit, rather than junk food, when you feel the urge to snack. There is however, a downside to this method if the patient has strictures and adhesions. It is a good idea to consult a doctor before deciding to pursue this course of treatment.

Diabetics need to stay away from fiber sources that contain sugar. It's best that the patient receives sugar-free fibers when this happens. It's not a good idea to suddenly ingest fibers in large amounts. It's advised to begin with a small amount.

Then, it can slowly but surely increase if the patient finds it required. A space of seven days is plenty for each point of increase in fiber matter. Sources of fiber are fruits, vegetables, Citrucel, Konsyl Fiber, Maltsupex etc. - 17268

By Christopher Yaunders

You ought to get ready for a incredible amount of possibilities while on the mission for the top coffee brewer. There are countless awesome coffee machine brands to point out. In the end, you are the one that makes the ultimate choice.

A great rating has been received by the particular brewers from Cuisinart, Black and Decker, Zojirushi, Bunn, Braun. I guess it is not really about finding the best one but finding the right one. If some thing is good for one can be bad for other, in same way may be the best coffee machine for others may not be the same for you.

We will just settle on knowing the qualities of the best brewer. If the following qualities are present in a coffee brewer, then that can be considered as the best one.

Extracts A Lot Of Coffee Flavor:

What's important is whether the coffee it brews is tasty. Most coffee machines today will require experimenting with the amount of coffee grounds and settings in order to get the most flavorful coffee.

It is enough to use small quantities of coffee granules to make a coffee of excellent flavor, when you have a good coffee machine. On coffee bean expenses, by this way you can save much. One that has a shower head and uses gold and conical coffee filter is a good choice as this has been labeled as the best team up when it comes to extracting coffee essential oils.

Sturdy Construction:

When choosing a brewer, it's important, of course, to look at design and how it works, but also pay careful attention to how it is made, and the quality of its construction. You may find that it doesn't last very long if parts are already a little loose in the beginning. Pick one made of stronger materials like stainless as these tend to last longer. Being fragile, there's always the danger of breakage, even though a glass carafe looks beautiful.

Well-priced:

It's important to get good value for your money as the best brewer is one at a fair cost. There is no need for the cost to be taken into too much consideration. Whatever the price may be, make sure it is appropriate for the features you are getting.

Get Ready for the Holidays

By Dr. Jason Fowler

The holidays are here - Chanukah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa. Lots of family get-togethers, lots of fellowship and fun, and usually lots of food. Family dinners, parties, family breakfasts, more parties. Is there any way to avoid gaining five or ten unwanted pounds during the extended holiday season? Thanksgiving through early January can be a pretty long time. In order to maintain that healthy weight range you have worked hard to achieve, it's important to keep following the good habits that got you there.

We want to have fun and enjoy ourselves during the holidays. We want to participate in all the activities and share the abundance of good food with family and friends. The questions is: How to let go without letting go? The solutions are available by having built a solid foundation. Food plans that work are based on a few simple and solid principles -

Eat five or six small meals daily.

Make sure each meal combines protein and complex carbohydrates 1,2 Drink plenty of water Exercise regularly Have a "free food day" once a week Such a food plan is realistic and doable. There's no crazy dieting involved, no highs or lows. You are eating healthy food with no restrictions, choosing from all basic food groups. You eat anything you want, being sure to follow guidelines on portion sizes. The results are weight loss that stays lost. Because you're exercising regularly, your body sheds fat pounds and adds a few pounds of lean muscle mass. Your metabolism becomes optimized to burn fat, even when you're resting. If you've been following such a food plan your metabolism is already doing what it is designed to do. During the holidays you'll continue to burn fat for energy, provided you don't overload your system with too many extra calories.

Try to schedule your free day - when you can eat anything you want, as much as you want, and whenever you want - to coincide with a big holiday get-together. When you're at a party and it's your free food day, you can indulge as much as you like. It's a part of your regular food plan. That's a pretty good bonus! Also, alcohol consumption often goes up during the holiday season. Punch, egg nog, all sorts of "holiday cheer". These beverages are super-high in calories. 3 Again, your free day is a good day to indulge yourself. On other days, maybe not so much.

After the last guest has gone home and the last dish is put back in the cupboard, if we've gained a few pounds during the course of the holidays it's not so bad. What we wanted to avoid was gaining a bunch of weight. Now, we can return to our regular food plan - six days on and one day off - and those extra few pounds will be gone in four to six weeks. We had fun, we spent quality time with a lot of family and friends, and at the same time we took care of our health and well-being. That helps make the holidays especially joyous!

The Essential Muscles for Weight Lifting

By Pat Summers

Many people who begin working out at the gym simply don't know what they're supposed to do. I've seen so many people jumping from machine to machine, without any real inclination as to which muscles are being worked out in the process. A solid plan will make a world of a difference though.

While my tips will definitely set you off in the right direction, this in and of itself won't be enough to make a difference. The real results will come from your consistent dedication when it comes to working these muscles.

However, following a steady workout plan can go a very long way toward building your body proportionally in a way that brings great results. Let's look at the muscle groups that you'll need to work out.

I always like to start my workout rotation with one that focuses on the chest. Exercises like bench press and push-ups both benefit the chest, and you'll see some great results as far as your overall build is concerned.

Many people enjoy building their chest muscles, and they already see the value in doing so. The back muscles are neglected more often though, and they shouldn't be. These are just as important as the chest muscles.

Another integral muscle group is your shoulders, which also includes your traps. Fit a shoulder day into your workout routine.

Then, you must remember the arms. Biceps and triceps are two different muscle groups, and it's important that you do exercises that are specific to each. Some people work both out together on the same day, and others like to divide it up.

The last essential muscle group that I'll mention here is the legs. These are possibly the most important all in all, as many serious body builders say they would choose legs if they could only work out one muscle group.

Some people also want to sculpt their abdominal muscles, and end up doing sit-ups and crunches regularly. Feel free to do this if a flat stomach is on your list of priorities. - 17268

Healthy Tips for the Over Fifties

By Juliette Crane

As your body ages, it undergoes a number of changes such as slowed metabolism and a greater tendency to gain weight. Your taste and smell deteriorate slightly, making it easier to eat foods you may once have disliked. Your ability to digest food is also affected because less stomach acid and saliva is produced as we age. This can affect your body's ability to absorb nutrients and vitamin and mineral deficiency can result. The body's ability to produce enzymes and coenzymes also declines as we age. Fortunately, there are some simple things you can do to improve or maintain your good health.

Start your day with a balanced breakfast. Most people learn over the years that breakfast is the most important meal of the day but they don't take heed because it is also the busiest time of the day. Don't overload your plate with heavy fatty foods but keep the meal light and healthy. Fresh fruit, oatmeal, toast and a cup of coffee, decaffeinated preferred is a well balanced meal.

Create a fruit kabob made with a halved strawberry, small slices of cheese, and grapes as a snack for later in the morning. One of the keys to healthy living is the consumption of smaller more frequent meals. Since the digestive system slows, the smaller meal allows the food to be processed more easily. The more frequently you eat small meals, the more your blood sugar levels out and reduces the hunger pangs.

A good, healthy lunch can include salads, healthy wraps, or soups. However, it might be a good idea to avoid creamy soups since milk products can cause flatulence as we age. The reason for this is likely to be because of a reduction in the production of lactase as we age so we are less able to digest milk sugar. Undigested lactose can cause diarrhea as well as flatulence. When cheese is aged more than sixty days, it contains very little lactose, so you may be able to tolerate it and obtain needed calcium if you otherwise cannot consume dairy products.

As you age, if you begin to show signs of food allergies that you never had before, they may not be food allergies at all. If your body is not able to properly digest certain foods, the symptoms can mimic those of some allergies. For example, gluten intolerance can cause real health problems that can often go undetected unless a physician asks the right questions. Wheat and many grain products contain gluten.

With the best will in the world, it is difficult to give your body all the essential vitamins and minerals that it needs. Therefore, it is a good idea to take a daily vitamin and mineral supplement. You can also supplement with enzymes or coenzymes. CoQ10, in particular, is a coenzyme which diminishes in the body as you age. It has been found to help people on cholesterol lowering drugs, those with early onset Alzheimer's disease and heart damage. Supplementing with CoQ10 can make many people feel substantially better.

Youth can often provide a grace period during which we don't suffer the full consequences of bad eating. However, as we age, our bodies can seem to turn on us and we don't get away with nearly as much. Processed sugar is a serious health hazard which you need to minimize increasingly as you age. Sugar should only be eaten in the form of fruit. Along with some daily exercise, a healthy diet will leave you feeling healthier and more energetic.

Finally, enjoy your life, be positive and stay active. If you feel you are in a rut, be willing to make a change, even if it is only a small one. Make healthy eating interesting and exciting. Learn to cook new meals and develop healthy yet tasty menus. The baby boomers changed the world, isn't it time to change the way we age? - 17268

The Superstar Supplement-Vitamin D

By Dr. Jason Fowler

You may remember the public health slogan, "Vitamin D helps build strong bones". This message could be seen on colorful school posters and heard on radio and television programs as early as the1950s. Getting enough Vitamin D was a major health issue, primarily for its role in preventing childhood rickets - "softening of the bones".1

More recently, and quite dramatically, vitamin D has been strongly associated with reduced cancer risks, preventing autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, preventing cardiovascular disease, and even helping to prevent diabetes.2 Vitamin D seems to be a one-stop shop for helping combat many serious chronic diseases, and yet vitamin D deficiency is common in the United States.3 Very few foods are natural sources of vitamin D. The primary source of vitamin D for humans is sunlight. Sunlight causes cells in the skin to produce vitamin D.

But most of us don't spend enough time outside to get sufficient sunlight to provide us with our normal daily requirement of vitamin D. Supplementation is needed, in the form of fortified foods such as milk and in vitamin/mineral tablets. Interestingly, meeting our vitamin D and calcium daily requirements is only one step on the road to healthy, strong bones. Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium from the intestinal tract. Also, vitamin D helps bone cells utilize calcium to build new bone. But in adults, new bone will only be built if there's a need for it. Mechanical stress causes the body to produce new bone - and the best source for this kind of bone-building mechanical stress is exercise.

Yes, the E word. It's not enough to passively swallow a bunch of supplements every day. We need to exercise regularly to get the most out of the nutrition we're providing our bodies. When we exercise - particularly when we do strength training and other gravity-resisting activities such as running, walking, and bicycling - our bodies react not only by building new muscle but by building new bone as well. This response follows a physiologic principle known as Wolff's Law - bone remodels along lines of physiologic stress.

Put another way, bone responds to mechanical challenges by building more bone. The result is more dense, stronger bones. Such bones are significantly less likely to fracture. And. logically, exercise helps prevent loss of bone mass, a primary cause of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and older adults. Chiropractic health care helps provide assistance to these metabolic processes. All of our metabolic activities are directed by signals from the nerve system. Our nerve impulses tell our cells when to start and when to stop these complicated biochemical processes. Chiropractic care helps ensure proper flow of information throughout the nervous system, helping us maintain optimal physical health and well-being. Your chiropractor is an expert in nutritional health and will be able to recommend a program and plan that will be right for you.

The Power That Green Tea Boasts

By Aoife Joyce

The answer is YES! Did you know that Green Tea has been named 'The Skin Tea'? This name has been proudly stamped on it on account of its abilities to improve the skins overall appearance. Would you be happy to enjoy youthful, revitalized, clear skin? Continue reading and you will soon realize the degree to which your skins future health is 'in the tea leaves'.

Green Tea originates from China and dates back as far as 4,000 years ago. It is made from the dried leaves of the pretty plant that is Camellia Sinensis, a perennial evergreen shrub. The tea leaves are dried out using steam, which prevents destruction of the hugely important antioxidants found in this 'skin tea'. These antioxidants are scientifically known as catechin polyphenols, the main catechin being in short terms EGCG. This EGCG takes prevalence over the rest as it has such vast effects on the body's health as a whole.

Your skins cells have a lifecycle of just 28 days. It takes approximately 20 of those days for the new cells, created from stem cells, to reach the very surface of the skin, known as the epidermis. Shortly after reaching the surface of the skin, they lay there and are ready to die. However, amazingly, it has been shown that EGCG has reacted with these 'dying' cells and prompted them to begin renewing themselves. Knowing this amazing fact, it makes sense to assume that if the skins dying cells can re- divide and renew themselves, the skin will benefit hugely in look and feel. Due to this discovery Green Tea, has been given another powerful nickname, the 'fountain of youth'.

A two year study recently released by Stanford University revealed that, with Green Tea drinking volunteers, the EGCG's (antioxidants) found in Green Tea showed, smoother skin, reduction in pore size and a reduction of 'red vein' look. It also appears to inhibit the release of histamine, reducing the skin sensitivity and redness, and can significantly reduce the appearance of Acne Rosacea.

Other Facts You Should Know

A statement released by Harvard Medical School declares that "in test tubes, catechins (antioxidants) are more powerful than Vitamin C and E in halting oxidative damage to cell". In reality, EGCG catechins are a massive 100 times more valuable to you than Vitamin C and 25 more efficient than Vitamin E is.

One cup of Green Tea supplies 10-40mg of catechins, which supplies you with more antioxidants than a decent serving of spinach, broccoli, carrots and strawberries.

The 'unpaired' electrons that are known as Free Radicals that can devastate cell membranes can be killed by EGCG. For this reason, EGCG antioxidants can work in line with sun defence lotions in preventing the skin from UV radiation effects. Rather than forming a barrier between the skin and the sun, it destroys Free Radicals when they become present in the skin. This fact is extremely interesting when you consider that a massive 90% of all signs of anti-ageing are caused by UV radiation

Riboflavin, being one of the Vitamin B's, can also be found in Green Tea and is responsible for repairing and protecting the cells of skin, hair and nails.

After reading all the information above, it is It is simple to understand why Green Tea has been classed 'The Skin Tea'. It is not just your skin that benefits from these antioxidants; there are no boundaries to what it can do for you. Along with its advanced assortment of powerful ingredients, it boasts a superbly refreshing flavor and by adding in some fresh lemon juice you can enhance its cancer fighting capabilities! - 17268

Your routine should feature a mix of cardio, strength, and flexibility workouts. By doing the same exercise, your body becomes an expert at it. It doesn't need to exert itself to perform it, meaning you burn fewer calories.

10. Add weights to lose weight. Adding weights to your routine helps you burn more calories and build stronger muscles. Even adding some bicep curls while you're on your treadmill can help you see results sooner.

You need both diet and exercise in order to burn fat fast and lose weight. Little changes like those described above will get you big benefits. - 17268
