My 13th HCG Day Down!

If you read my summary of events yesterday then you're probably very hatefully waiting to see my weight jump up by several pounds. And I'd deserve it. I did break all HCG protocol and oral HCG reviews advice and indulge in disgustingly (yet tasty, it had to be said) fattening items like homemade potato salad, green salad doused in Caesar dressing and massive turkey legs (grilled, but still). It was a very bad day for my HCG diet.

So all you haters out there...get ready...my weight went from 160 to......160! Ta da! I've escaped punishment for today at least. Although the fact that I stayed the same is a bit of punishment in itself. I like the days when I drop 2 pounds or more much better.

I might still be punished with a jump in my weight. The oral HCG reviews suggest that it can happen that way. But still...for today I'm saved. Alright. I'll quit being dramatic. But it is lovely that I wasn't punished for my bad eating behavior yesterday.

This morning the first thing I did was take my B vitamin supplement. I usually weight first, but I decided I needed the benefits of its positive effects on stress and energy before I weighed myself. I took my HCG after I weighed myself. And then again at before lunch and dinner. I searched through some oral HCG reviews for any sort of trick I could try that would counteract my horrible diet yesterday, but the only thing they said was to get back on plan as quickly as possible and stay there.

Today I grilled up several chicken breasts with Creole seasoning (I know...I've gotten obsessed, but it's really good). I had grilled chicken for lunch with a sliced tomato and some Melba Toasts. I had a lot of lemon water throughout the day (trying to drink the whole pitcher). I gagged down a cup of green tea and I had an apple in the afternoon.

For dinner I used some of the chicken I cooked at lunch to make Chicken Asparagus Soup. I really like it. I was never attached to asparagus before, but I'm becoming quite accustomed to it. Although I'm kind of hooked on the entire soup section of the HCG Diet Direct cookbook. It's got some great stuff in there. I had Melba Toasts with the soup and an apple. Certain beverages that have a large amount of purine and caffeine, such as coffee, tea with caffeine and high caffeine sodas, can also cause flareups of gout.

These beverages include caffeinated teas, coffee and high caffeine drinks. Many times, if a person is in the early stages of gout, a change of diet can quickly relieve the pain and stiffness in the joints that are caused by the condition. Eliminating foods and beverages which are high in purines, along with drinking large quantities of water, can help to flush uric acid from your system. The gout symptoms will soon disappear.

If a change in your diet does not relieve all your gout symptoms, you might need to take medication that is specifically designed to break up the gout crystals.
