Keeping your Butt Worked for Total Body Beauty

By Ryan Parker

As the title would suggest to most of you we feel that the most neglected part of any modern workout is the butt. The unfortunate truth is that many workouts that are published in magazines and even those that are specially developed by trainers will completely neglect the butt as something that should be trained. This is one of the biggest mistakes as we will explain to you in this article.

The big mistake that many people do and still continue to do is to classify the butt as either a part of the leg or the part of the back, so when they exercise their legs they think that they are exercising their butt, or when they are doing their back they think they are also doing their butt. This simply isn't the way we should approach the development of the butt. Instead of thinking of the butt as a component of other "sets", we have to think of the butt as a body set that requires its own specific training. Much like how you might set days for "arms", "legs", "shoulders" etc, the proper way is to set days to focus on your butt too.

The exercises that you use to train the butt muscles are similar to the ones that you use to train your thighs and legs but are slightly different in that they focus a lot of the strength development on the butt muscles rather than on the thigh and leg. We are not going to cover the different exercises that follow focus on the butt here, for that you have to visit my website http://www.butt-up.net, link available after the article. It is only by concentrating on the butt muscles that you can effectively carve out your butt to the shape that you desire.

It is a little known fact that many celebrities who earn the bulk of their money by the way they look do actually have programs that will develop their butts and also any surrounding muscles to achieve the look they want. This fact is almost never published in magazines and is never reported on as most celebrities actually keep their real exercise and dieting routines a secret while telling everyone else standard spinned gibberish about how they get their bodies to look so good. Celebrities know that in order to build a body that is balanced and beautiful it is vital that the butt be given enough priority.

People who have spent time in higher end gyms or have spent many thousands of dollars on the top fitness and body image instructors will know that there is no one single part of the body that will define it as beautiful. Rather it is how all the different parts of the body that come together to form the whole body that can be defined as beautiful or not. The two important elements of making a body beautiful are symmetry and balance. If the body lacks any of these two elements then it cannot be called beautiful. An example of symmetry is the width of your hips to your shoulders, the length of your shin to your thigh, or in our case the size of the butt to the overall build of your body. Balance is how balance you are from side to side, you can't have an arm that is longer then the other and be called beautiful. It is for this very reason that it is vital to develop the butt in order for the whole body image to improve. Neglecting your butt will mean that you will have one part of your body that is always holding you back.

We think that the butt is not given enough attention when looking at body beauty as a package. Some people are gifted in that they are born with butts that are somehow proportional to their body even if they only pay attention to the rest of their body and neglecting their butts in exercise regimes. For the vast majority of us, our butts need an equal amount of attention as the rest of our bodies. There is no sense in building all the different components of your body into perfection but keeping your butt looking the same. It is far better to think of your entire body image and build your butt appropriately so that you are more beautiful because of it. - 17268

The Importance of Clean Pure Water For Health

By Lee Jacobs

Many of us fail to realize just how important clean drinking water is for the body - did you know that the human organism is primarily water? We are talking about over 70%, with the quality of our health and wellbeing coming down largely to the quality of the waters contained within the body.

The actual break down of the body in terms of constituent's stands at 72% plain water, 20% being hard bone and solid tissue, with the remaining 8% being a combination of chemical compounds. Looking at this from purely a biochemical standpoint, it stands to reason that the quality of fluids within the body can have a profound impact upon our overall state of wellbeing. Every life giving action that takes place within the body happens within this body of water.

The last decade has brought many medically based discoveries to the fore of our awareness, one of them being the enormous capacity of the human body to heal itself of virtually any pathology if just given the chance. By instinct, our body knows how to heal itself, and it has been found that water is the key!

Every cell within the body is governed by complex electrical signals sent via the nervous system stemming from the brain. Essentially, the nervous system is a complex array of miniscule "waterways". For instance, if we become dehydrated, the fluid within our nerves congeals, giving way to a congested mix of synthetic and organic contaminants that distort the vital signals within the body.

Many scholars have now concluded that the distortion of these sensitive communications within the body are the driving mechanism for many degenerative pathologies and neurological diseases such as Chronic Fatigue, anxiety, depression, Attention Deficit Disorder and even Alzheimer's disease.

Recently it has been medically shown that even a drop as little as 4% in fluids within the body will cause up to a 30% loss of energy. So for all of us out there that at times suffer from low energy, more times than not this will be because we are dehydrated. A 15% drop in body fluids actually will kill us!

The statistics have it that more than 65% of people don't consume enough fluids, with many of us experiencing some degree of dehydration. Effectively this means that much of the populace is running at roughly 70% of our capacity, and in many cases less.

Conditions like ulcers, hypertension, arthritis, fatigue, sickness and headaches can be significantly reduced in many cases or entirely prevented by simply drinking an adequate amount of clean water.

It's important to clarify that clean pure water is what we are saying that needs to be consumed, and not fluids such as tea, coffee, colas and the like. This distinction is of utmost importance, as many fluids will actually dehydrate the system - we need to hydrate!

Remember, every time we consume a meal, a certain amount of available fluid is required to shuttle the nutrients away from the bowel, and just as importantly, an adequate amount of fluid is needed to flush the toxin load from the body that builds up from metabolic wastes.

When the body is given the right amount of good clean water, the proper minerals and nutrients, it can overcome nearly anything. - 17268

Is the Water You Drink Making You Ill?

By Lee Jacobs

Do you ever wonder if the water that comes out of your tap could possibly be making you ill? Well, this is not as far fetched as you may think! It's difficult to tell with water, as most municipal water looks the same, and unless you really delve further into what may be lurking within that clear liquid, how would you really know?

It's really not that difficult to find out what's in your tap water. The information is freely available to the public and this article is merely a brief summary of this information. Research scientists no longer use the term "pure" when classifying drinking water. They classify the levels of contamination as either "acceptable" or unacceptable".

Do you know why? Well, it's because virtually all of our tap water is heavily contaminated with cesspool levels of nasty viruses, heavy metals, germs and even embalming fluid! Take a look below, as this is what is found in most municipal drinking water supplies.

Millions of kilos of chemicals are dumped into the water supplies every year. This number does not include the 650 chemicals that are registered by the EPA and listed as toxic and deleterious to our health. This does not include the "safe" chemicals that are dumped in for good measure.

Heavy metals, such as arsenic, lead, and high levels of mercury are found in many samples taken form municipal water supplies across the USA. Most of the time it doesn't matter if you purchase bottled water, since much of the bottle water is actually municipal water that is rebottled and sold to consumers at a huge mark up!

Infectious diseases - A study that was recently published in the Journal of American Public Health estimated that 40% of the gastrointestinal diseases in homes are picked up via the water that is delivered from the faucet at the kitchen sink.

You may wonder what can be done.

Well, that's a good question. There are many different methods of purifying water available in these modern times, but many of them have both pros and cons.

As an example, the use of carbon filtration is excellent for many contaminants across the board and leaves water tasting sweet and fresh. However, this filtration method does not remove fluoride and some of the smaller viral contaminants. For the most part this method is an excellent choice since the systems are inexpensive, successfully remove most of the organic volatiles, and remove virtually every bit of chlorine and leaves no smell.

Reverse osmosis filtration is another buzz word of late, and is a powerful method of water cleansing in its own right. The pros are that it removes almost all contaminants from your water - including the enormously elusive and ubiquitous fluorine. But alas, it is so effective at removing contaminants that beneficial alkaline minerals are removed. This can eventually lead to a depletion of important mineral salts.

Another method that effectively removes nearly every contaminant is distillation. The distillation process works a lot like reverse osmosis systems do. These system work and the work very well,, but may lead to mineral depletion in the long run.

Ionizing machines are excellent in many respects. They do nearly everything that will lead to good clean water, with the exception of removing fluoride. These systems effectively remove all of the acidic constituents while delivering alkaline water deep into the tissues of the body. This is a good choice depending on your preferences.

It often comes down to a compromise of a number of variables to have healthy, clean, and pure drinking water. By far the best option would be to install a small tank to collect water from the roof of your house and the run it through a quality alkalizing machine. Even a good dual stage carbon filter would work.

In the end, it winds up being a matter of personal preference. Keep in mind though that if you are able to keep the fluoride away from your mouth, you are better off than many others.

To better health! - 17268

Kinoki Foot Patches Do They Work

By Ron Cripps

The Kinoki detox foot patches are a product that has been intensely successful in Asia, and they are starting to obtain fame in the U.S.A. If you would like to get rid of all the poisonous toxins in your body, you should check them out.

The Kinoki detox foot patches are produced in Japan, and they comprise Asian ancient formulas mixed with the latest technology in order for them to attain their effects. At least that's what the ads say. I can't tell you for certain whether the Ancient mystical formula story is true. But I can report to you that they have given me results.

I trust that the basis the Kinoki detox foot patches are becoming popular is because they work on a simple notion: the eradication of toxins by means of the pores of the skin, usually known as perspiring or sweating.

You see, sweating is one of the most important tools our body has to remove toxins. We are at all times sweating, whether you recognize it or not. That is why we have a tendency to smell wayward after a day if we don't take showers, regardless if we haven't completed exercise. When we sweat and smell, it's because we have removed some toxins through sweat and they are still everywhere on top of our skin. Your nose is telling you that those toxins ought to be washed away.

When we participate in a real activity, you sweat even quicker, and thus we smell even worse in a much less amount of time.

The most prominent parts of the body for this are, your armpits and our feet are the ones that perspire at a faster pace, this is also the reason those body parts tend to smell shoddier than the rest of your body.

Kinoki detox foot patches employ this natural body detox system and improve it for greatest effect. Their approach is simple, when you go to sleep, you apply them to the soles of your feet, and you leave then on all night. While you rest, the detox foot patches will absorb your bodies bad toxins and clean your body. When you awaken, you'll feel a great deal healthier. The detox foot patches will have turned brown and very often smell bad, because of the toxins they absorbed.

Kinoki detox foot patches can be low-cost or pricey, depending on where and how you obtain them. I have not seen any difference at all with detox foot patches bought cheaply online or in pharmaceutical stores.

Some individuals claim that these detox foot patches are fake and do not in fact aid you. However, I have seen results and I recommend them. If you're undecided regarding them, I advise you buy yourself a few of them and test them out. They aren't really pricey. That way, you can make a decision based on your own experience. - 17268

Treatment & Management Of Diabetes (Informational)

By Deborah Marvin

Diabetes mellitus, often referred to simply as diabetes is a syndrome of a disordered metabolism, usually caused by a heredity and environmental issues.

Resulting is abnormally high blood sugar levels, blood sugar levels are controlled by a complex interacting of multiple chemicals and hormones. The hormone insulin made in the cells of the organ (pancreas) is controller of diabetes and helps with the treatment.

Diabetes mellitus refers to a group of different diabetes that all eventually lead to a high blood sugar count. Diabetes is developed when you have a low count of insulin in your body or resistance to its effects. All forms of diabetes have been controllable since insulin was discovered and came available in 1921, there is still no cure for diabetes.

All types of diabetes have been treatable with insulin since 1921 (its discovery in helping with the treatment of diabetes). Diabetes can cause many complications in the long run of your life time, chronic renal failure, retinal damage (the cause for blindness), poor wound healing, nerve problems, ED (erectile dysfunction) and cardiovascular deterioration are all causes of diabetes.

Diabetes has no cure at the moment and is considered a chronic disease. When you have diabetes, you are mostly in control of the outcome of your life. If you pay attention to what foods you are eating daily and what your blood sugar counts are than you should be okay. Although many people don't take care of themselves and suffer from the consequences that were listed above.

Insulin is supplied to those who have attacks, without insulin these people could die from these severe attacks. The main focus of treatment is to keep your blood sugar count to its normal state and not to high or to low. If your blood sugar count drops or rises you can have an attack and at which case the insulin shot is required.

All over the world people are dieing each day from diabetes. They have insulin attacks and don't have the proper tools to save their own lives. We must come together and eliminate this horrible disease from ruining our lives and families.

Doctor scientists are currently researching to discover a cure for the groups of diabetes. So far nothing has came out of the research but they are on the verge of discovering new treatment methods that could eliminate diabetes itself. - 17268

Acai Berry Recipes

By Jane A Moore

I just saw the Rachel Ray acai berry show, and since Rachel Ray has such spectacular recipe ideas, I was a little disappointed that she didn't try to incorporate acai berry juice into a fun recipe. Since then I have tried a number of acai berry juices, which are fine on their own, but I thought that it was time that I try to experiment and see if I could create some interesting acai berry recipes.

The first thing I tried was an acai berry juice marinade on chicken breast. This is just a variation of an orange juice and white pepper marinade I picked up in Nicaragua or the lime juice and soy marinade I had been using for years. I should note that I always marinade for at least six hours as any less time doesn't do much for me.

I cut the chicken breast into strips and pour acai juice and some extra virgin cold pressed olive oil over the pieces. In an effort to cut the sweetness, I added some sea salt and crushed capers. The result was interesting and got fairly good reviews. I didn't like it as much as my stand by marinades so I won't be likely to repeat this recipe. Also I ended up tossing much of the acai goodness down the drain which entirely defeats the health benefits of acai berry juice. Additionally, acai is more expensive than lime juice or orange juice so it was a slightly expensive experiment.

Let's think of something else that might be Rachel Ray acai berry recipe worthy. I thought of an acai berry frozen yogurt that was quick and simple to make, but this one turned out delicious! First, because I am going to add juice to the yogurt, we need to drain some liquid so it won't form too many ice crystals once it's frozen. Start by draining a pint of plain (low fat) yogurt with a colander and cheese cloth in the fridge for a day. Once it's has drained, discard the liquid, and now whip in 1/2 a cup of acai berry juice. At this point it actually makes a wonderful spread or dip.

So once the yogurt and acai berry mixture has been mixed and whipped, put it in a Tupperware and freeze it for a minimum of 6 hours. Once it is frozen to your taste - some people prefer just a chilled version, others like really hard frozen yogurt - serve, and enjoy! This recipe so far is the favorite, and versatile as well. You can use it as a non-frozen bagel spread, or throw it in the freezer for a frozen version perfect for a hot summer day.

Finally, I tried my own version of the old standby, the fruit smoothie. Actually there are a lot of acai berry juice mixes that have a creamy consistency and are called 'smoothies' on the label, but I like to make my smoothies fresh so I get the little bit of ice chips right in the smoothie. I mixed ice, banana, yogurt and acai berry juice in my blender, and blended until smooth. A trick I like to use is to freeze the banana before adding it, which makes the smoothy even creamier. In any event, as predicted, this was pretty delicious.

With a little imagination acai can be incorporated into many different recipes. Without much thought I was able to create a main course, desert and a smoothie. Although Rachel Ray acai berry recipes do not seem to currently exist I will continue looking and in the meantime I will be creating and writing about my own recipes. - 17268

How to Control Hypertension with Herbs

By Yolande Koy

Hypertension is a very common disease in America, afflicting a third of its population and it is not showing any signs of slowing down. Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, manifests itself in the blockage of the arterial wall, rapid heartbeats and increase of blood volume.

No one is safe from this insidious disease, as it does not discriminate among the world population. No matter your age, sex or ethnicity. The disease has managed to gain a stranglehold on the population due to the prevalence of sedentary way of life, bad eating habits and stress.

However, there are ways for you to remedy or at the minimum keep it under control. It would require you to have a balanced diet, frequent exercise and herbal remedies. The most well known and effective of these herbal remedies to control this disease would be the common garlic. There is a unique herbal remedy, which is often recommended by herbalists, by making a mixture of garlic and raisins. This unique combination may be too bizarre of a combination for some, and may seem like jumping straight into the deep end for people that are trying herbal remedies for the first time.

A more attractive alternative is grapefruits. There are many people that have grapefruits for breakfast, but what they may not know is, grapefruits are highly beneficial in managing hypertension. Grapefruits are said to be beneficial in lowering blood pressure because they contain large quantities of vitamin P. To enhance the effects, you can take a carrot, another great food to remedy hypertension.

The more exotic herbs beyond fruits and vegetables would include Garcinia, hawthorn berries and a superb herb for hypertension, Shepherd's Purse. The blood vessels are relaxed and cleansed with these herbs. Other than that, you could use an infusion of sarpagandha, Siberian ginseng, motherwort, mistletoe and lime blossoms. To give an extra boost, you may add one teaspoon of honey to the infusion.

Honey in itself is useful in controlling hypertension. It also helps to strengthen the heart and blood vessels. You can mix it into a drink and take it every morning. Take a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of lemon juice and mix it with water. For the more daring, you can substitute the lemon juice with onion juice.

Beyond all things, a proper diet is necessary to maintain good health. It will also help in dealing with high blood pressure. The importance of adding fruits and vegetables into your diet cannot be overstated. Apples and bananas can be taken to replace the junk food snacks. Tomatoes, spinach and green vegetables are high on the list of recommended vegetables for hypertension. You may also find it beneficial to fast every now and then. On the day you are fasting, replace your meals with fruit juices.

As a final point, you need to manage your stress. You can employ various natural methods to manage it such as yoga, aromatherapy or massage. Using these natural methods will help you wind down after a hectic day at work. - 17268

Resveratrol, Weight Loss, Aging and More!

By Laura Lane

When it comes to health and anti-aging, it is hard to find better guidance than that offered by Oprah Winfrey. Several months ago, Oprah invited Dr. Mehmet Oz, a doctor originally from Turkey who specializes in cardiac problems and is known as an expert concerning reducing the problems caused by growing older, to speak on her show. What Dr. Oz presented was resveratrol; a scientific breakthrough in the fight against aging with which we all are forced to struggle.

Antioxidants

Your body's organs are under constant attack by toxins referred to as oxidants. Oxidants and the endless war against them engenders wrinkles on the surface of your skin, while beneath that surface organ damage and even cancer are products of these toxic invaders. There are, however, naturally occurring substances-antioxidants-that can and will preserve the body's cells, organs, and organ systems, especially the nervous system. Furthermore, these antioxidants are able to rejuvenate the body, both inside and out.

Resveratrol: Antioxidant par excellence

Among antioxidants, resveratrol is one of the (if not the most) powerful found by our scientists and doctors. As a catalyst, resveratrol sends out a kind of "call to action" to one of the protectors of our immune systems: "Sirtuins." Sirtuins are durable genes that assist in stopping cellular decay, allowing other cells to rejuvenate themselves. An aging individual who ingests resveratrol regularly-in large enough doses of course-will therefore notice that he or she has more energy, reduced fatigue, and a healthier appearance, complete with softened wrinkles and lines.

Hence there are a multitude of benefits generated by ingesting resveratrol on a regular basis. Resveratrol has been found to both fight against, and protect the body from, cancer. It can also protect the body if it is exposed to certain types of radiation and, of course, assist in weight loss.

Still, this is only the tip of the iceberg! Studies concerning resveratrol are still in their infancy, and GlaxoSmithKline has already invested almost a billion dollars to further our knowledge of this seemingly miraculous antioxidant.

A Naturally Occurring Substance

Identified in 1963 as "ko-jo-kon," resveratrol has been used for a long time as a homeopathic remedy-derived from Japanese Knotweed-in Asia. While Japanese Knotwood would seem to be a rather obscure source of resveratrol, you might actually have some growing in your backyard! Knotwood has been identified as an invasive, virtually invincible weed in more than thirteen states. Its hardiness derives directly from the resveratrol it contains. Thus Knotwood is used by some in cooking, as a substitute for rhubarb, while companies have begun manufacturing supplements from it.

Another source of resveratrol is the peanut. Yes, the same peanut you can purchase at a supermarket has the capacity to improve your quality of life. Although peanuts have been traditionally considered to be very fatty and unhealthy, medical inquiries have demonstrated that those people who consume peanuts every day are healthier, with lower body fat than the majority of the population.

Do you drink red wine? If so, then you are drinking resveratrol. Back in 1992 scientists discovered that grapevines contained copious amounts of resveratrol. Thus drinking red wine is a heart-healthy choice for many of us. Even so, it's important-given all the benefits that resveratrol has to offer us-to remember that a single dose of a resveratrol supplement contains the equivalent of almost one thousand bottles of red wine! - 17268

You Should Consider Cooking With Teriyaki Sauce

By Ferdinand Emy

Teriyaki sauce is a conventional Japanese sauce that has picked up tremendous popularity in Western cultures. It is a sweet sauce, utilized as either a garnish or a marinade for meats, vegetables and rice. It can be utilized as a dipping sauce as well, giving it a flexibility that makes it suitable as an add-on to many cuisines.

Ingredients:

Mirin Sake Cornstarch Brown sugar Garlic Soy sauce Ginger

Readying Time: 5 to 10 minutes

All ingredients should be rinsed, chopped or ground prior to mixture. Most teriyaki sauces are not cooked, as they will be cooked with the meat or vegetables. Several ingredients will be utilized depending on if it is a traditional or modern teriyaki sauce.

Use:

A sort of cooking process in Japan, teriyaki sauce is traditionally utilized as marinade, with the sauce being the sweet marmalade that the vegetables or the meat are coated in. Often, teriyaki techniques are set aside for white meats such as chicken and fish, and as for fish, yskipjack tuna, salmon, yellowtail, marlin, trout and mackerel are mainly used.

In Western cultures, teriyaki sauce tends to be a reference to a similar style of sauce applied in the teriyaki method of cooking. All The Same, these sauces do not tend to be true teriyaki, as the cooking of the food is not typically done in the same way. Rather as a marinade, in this case teriyaki is typically utilized as an accompaniment and in stir fry .

It is suggested that your vegetables or meats be placed in the marinade for at least thirty minutes before cooking. Because it lets the meat to absorb the flavor of the teriyaki sauce, it is not common for recipes to call for a marrinade of twenty-four hours. Generally, the stronger the teriyaki flavor, the longer it will be allowed to marinade. You will want to use a bit lesser process of marinading so that the taste of the fish is as fresh as possible.

The grilling of the teriyaki can be carried out in numerous surface types, which include, coal and wood burning grills, gasp and electric.

History:

Along with yakitori and sukiyaki, teriyaki was used for the first time in Japan in the 17th century. These three cooking methods are closely interlaced, and were improved alongside one another. The 'Yaki', which is the base word in all 3 types, just means grilled, and often yaki dishes will include pretty similar ingredients with differences in how the vegetables or the meat are grilled. - 17268

How to Avoid Painful Leg Cramps

By Dr. Jason Fowler

Your mind has finally stopped racing and you've just nodded off, only to be rudely awakened by a deep knot of sudden pain in your thigh, calf or in the arch of your foot. Athletes and high heel wearers alike are often awakened from sleep by the infamous nocturnal leg cramp or charley horse. And though these occasional cramps usually are not serious, they are undeniably painful and downright annoying.

Keep track of your H20 levels

The exact cause of leg cramps is not known, however, they are most often associated with dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. That said, and youve heard it before, drinking the optimal amount of water " 7 to 8 eight-ounce glasses of water per day " is the first line of defense against charley. Staying hydrated is also important for overall health, so the water speech bears repeating!

Stretch stems

Also, easy stretches before bed can stave off cramps. Try this simple stretch before you hop into bed each night:

Stand facing the wall, 30 inches away. While keeping your heels on the floor, lean forward, put your palms on the wall, and slowly move your hands up the wall as far as you can reach comfortably. Hold the stretched position for 30 seconds. Release. Repeat steps 1 through 3 two more times. Keep in mind, when stretching, to take it slowly. Jolting right into a deep stretch and quick bouncing motions through the stretch are mistakes that can cause injury.

If youre still bothered by occasional cramping, your diet may need slight supplementation. According to Charles Kuntzleman, EdD, associate professor of kinesiology at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, taking a daily supplement of 400 IU of Vitamin E is usually helpful. If the cramps persist, your body may be experiencing a lack of calcium and magnesium, found in dark green, leafy vegetables such as kale and broccoli. Dr. Kuntzleman suggests supplementing with daily dosages of up to 1,000 milligrams of magnesium and 500 to 1,000 milligrams of calcium.

Circulation is necessary for rushing nutrients from food and supplements to the areas of the body that need healing most. Chiropractic adjustments can improve circulation and greatly reduce healing time. Remember to inform your chiropractor if youre experiencing muscle cramps. - 17268
